A Passionate Proposal

So what exactly is Books Without Borders?  In short, Books Without Borders is a read aloud digital resource.  A resource that is free and open to use by educators from every culture and country across the globe.  A read aloud storybook resource that is read and recorded by a real person, reading a real story, with a real voice, with real expressions and real emotions for refugees.

Read aloud stories can provide a rich and engaging experience that is both educational and enjoyable connecting students with a world beyond their classroom. (McQuiggan et al., 2015).
